Saturday started with a light rain that turned to sleet which soon transitioned into snow leaving the gorgeous 70 degree Friday a faint sunny memory. The snow continued through the night and we woke up to this:
a beautiful 6-7″ of snow with more falling. Even though it was MARCH 21st. I was still pretty stoked to spend the day sledding with the boys, tramping through the neighborhood, and ending the day with a fire in our outdoor fireplace. With the high on Tuesday in the 60s, I knew the snow wouldn’t last long, so I thought we’d make the most of it. Unfortunately, mother nature had other ideas. By 9:30 am the snow had turned to sleet followed at 10:30 by rain. The boys tried their best to play outside but it was just NASTY. The only choice was to come inside. The rain lasted almost the entire day, so all of our fun plans were a bust. We are going to try and get outside this morning for some sledding before everything begins to melt. Wish us luck!
